National Enquirer article Feature on How EMDR Helped Paris Jackson with Trauma

I was quoted in the National Enquirer!

When I was a young girl, my neighbor would read the National Enquirer magazine all the time. After reading it, she would hand them down to me.

For some reason, reading the stories about celebrities and seeing their lifestyle was fascinating to me.

Now, decades later, to be quoted as a professional in a magazine I would read as a child is a full-circle moment for me.

As a therapist who uses a form of treatment called EMDR for trauma focused treatment for women, it is important to spread the word that there is hope for care.

Many don’t understand trauma, let alone the various treatment modalities including EMDR and find it’s healing effects “woo woo” because the way it can transform people’s lives is amazing.

I enjoyed the interview about EMDR for trauma treatment and its benefits and hope that Paris Jackson sharing her story of healing trauma can inspire others to get the help they need.
